真の愛国とは何か / The real patriolism

選挙権を行使する際の判断基準は、最終的には好き嫌いに帰結する。個々の哲学はイデオロギーに優越する。
以前から思案していたが、ごく若い世代の右翼（ときにネット右翼と揶揄される人種）を見ていて確信した。彼らの意見の主軸は、内政に関してはともかく外交関連に話が及んだ途端に、理性から感覚へと明確に移動する。
つまり、民主党は中国に媚びるから嫌いだというところまでは正しい右翼思想であるが、だから自民党の方が良いとするのは論理的整合性に欠けている。何故なら、駐日米軍基地からFTA、郵政民営化に至るまで、U.S.Aが押し付けてくるその価値観と流儀を甘んじて日本に持ち込み続けたのが自由民主党その人たちであるからだ。左派を批判するためには自らがまず正しく右側に立つべきであろう。断っておくが、筆者も中国共産党による軍事独裁は人道的見地から否定されて然るべきだと考える。しかし、それは合衆国流のやり方を日本に導入することの拠りどころとはならない。
ひょっとしたら当人達は右翼でなく中道のつもりなのかもしれない。そうであればなおさら、全政党を俯瞰して批評すべきである。その際には国益に沿うかどうかが評価の基準となるのであろうが、すると真の国益とは何かという問題に突き当たる。そこで、普遍的な基準として露になるのが好き嫌いなのである。
中国にたかられることと合衆国の植民地になることとの違いは、支配者集団の違いでしかない。嫌中親米というのは、ましな宗主国を選んでいるに他ならない。しかし、2度の世界大戦はもとより冷戦すら終結して20年経った。今や大国だからというだけでおもねる時代ではないのだ。もっと視野を広げ、むしろお互いを尊重し高め合うことのできる国とこそ親交を深めるべきで、日本のためにはまずそのような国を好きになるべきである。主要国だけでなく発展途上国やASEAN中にも候補は多いことだろう。日本の得意とするソフトパワーを生かせるとなお良い。

The criteria to exercise one's right to vote consequently come to likes and dislikes. The individual physiology dominates the ideology.
I have been reflecting for some time, then the behavior of very younger-generation right wing (labeled as "Net Uyoku" or on-line right wing, sometimes) convince me. The main shaft of their opinion clearly shift to senses from reasons when it comes to about foreign diplomacy, not domestic affairs.
That is, it is just right-wing thinking that they dislike the Democratic Party of Japan because the party flatter China, but they lack logical consistency in their judgment which the Liberal Democratic Party is better. Because, unilateral imposition of American values and styles from U.S. troops on Japan to FTA and postal privatization had been imported quietly to Japan by LDP themself. Those who try to criticize left would have to stand right side correctly at the beginning. Let me point out that I think that military dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party should be disallowed. But, it do not become a reason to bring American style into Japan.
They may be thinking that they are not right wing but middle of the road. This is all the more reason to take a panoramic view of all the political groups. Whether it serve Japan's national interests will be the standard of their estimation in such case, and they run into a question of what is the national interest. Then likes and dislikes appear as the universal standard.
The difference between being cadged and being colonized is nothing more than the Establishment. Anti-China and pro-U.S. is exactly choice a suzerain. Meanwhile, 20 years have passed since the end of cold war even after two world wars. Now it is no longer the time to make advances to a country just because it is great power. It would rather be necessary to expand our field of vision, and deepen partnership with a country which is able to respect each other, we are first to come to like such country for Japan. Many candidates would be not only in major countries but in some developing countries or in ASEANs, too. It is better to take advantage of Japanese soft power which Japan is good at.
