Why today is called the End of WW2 Day in JP / なぜ今日を終戦記念日と呼ぶのかというと

 今日を「敗戦」ではなく一般に「終戦記念日」と呼ぶのは、68年前に日本は滅亡したからです。無くなった国の敗戦を記念してもしょうがないからね。今そこにあるのは、多分、隣の国の自治的未編入地域か何か。
 Because Japan had gone to ruin 68 years ago, today is usually not called "the defeat in WW2" but "the anniversary of the end of WW2" in Japanese. It's useless, you know, to commemorate the defeat of a lost country. There may be an organized unincorporated territory of the neighboring country or somewhat. T
